Joezy - Outro (The World Poem)

The end
Did you guys enjoy story time
Yeah (Yeah,yeah it was cool)
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa
How'd y'all get old so quick
These life stories made you all change like that
Dang that's...that's crazy
I guess this kinda reminds me of this piece that I wrote
Uhh the title of this piece that I wrote was called The World
And I guess it's fitting for me to recite it for you guys real quick
I know some of y'all will be able to relate to this
Who did this to you
I never seen you act like this before
You acting totally different
Something happened
I remember when all it took was a Happy Meal to keep you happy
Now your panties in a bunch if it's not Sunday brunch
I remember when if you were angry you would just throw hands
Who taught you to grab that knife
Who told you to go get that gun
I remember a time when a kiss from your crush was enough
But now amazing sex is a mandatory
Like it has to be like them porn stars or its bon voyage
I remember when your biggest stress was could you stay up past your bedtime
Now you always up past your bedtime
Never giving your head time to rest
I remember when a nice bike with pegs was enough
Now you feel insecure if you not driving the expensive stuff
And you still gotta trade it in every couple years just to make sure they know that you rich in here
I remember when we use to chase the ice cream truck
Now I scream to tell you don't lose your innocence
I remember when you traded Pokémon cards
Now all you trade are business ones
I guess you stayed the same in that sense
Still dealing cards but the battles changed
All business no pleasure in people
I remember when you couldn't wait for mom to get home
And I understand maybe now you have kids of your own
But it won't hurt you every once in awhile to give her a call on the phone
Or a visit at home
I remember when you were quick to forgive
But now you hold grudges like we held our breath at the swimming pool
As long as you can just to see who wins
I remember when friends came together to plot to see how we could get the one who always on punishment out the house
And when his mom finally said yes today he can come out
We'd all scream and shout
It was a victory
Now they only come out if it ain't a liquor drought
And scream and shout when they out of Hennessy
Ain't no more victories only losers
I remember when sleepovers were like an early Christmas
Now it's make sure you call before you visit, and I still might not answer
I remember when it was easy to make friends and you didn't know what an enemy was
I remember when you ran just for fun but now you steady running from problems
Bills piling up
You used to just pile uno cards
Slept like a baby
Now baby please what's sleep
Shared stories with your friends now you only share videos on your story
Or with your friends on Facebook
You use to enjoy a face to face but now you settle for face time
You use to hate homework but now you willingly take your work home
Acting grown
Now life make you act and groan
Fake the joy that was once real as ever
Who did this to you
I never seen you act like this before
You acting totally different
Something happened
Yeah something happened
It was The World that happened to you
And He said truly I tell you
Unless you change and become like little children
You will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven
