I’ve been prodded & been poked
Pushed & pulled & then provoked
Hounded each & everyday
Seemingly each & every way
Been dismissed without respite
Skipped the bark received the bite
Kicked & trashed upon the floor
Full onslaught my body bore
Had all memory erased
Skip the plot cut to the chase
Sensing the walls are closing in
Seeking an exit way again
Idly dismissed without a case
Thrown out while standing safe on base
Judge smiled so condescendingly
This time there won’t be no jury
Empty pockets naked mast
Endless sea shapeless & vast
Bait my feeble line & cast
Stretch it out to make it last
