The Fretliners - Ozark Memories

Whitetail playing in the field down the road
Hawks flying in the wind
These are some of my childhood memories
Wish I could go back again

Ozark memories

Sadie Hawkins dance at the local school
Girls was chasing us boys
Too young to know what it all meant back then
Lord have the times of changed

Ozark memories

Kinfolk come on Saturday night
Playing music till the early morn
We gather at church early Sunday morning
Singin' them, precious gospel songs

Ozark memories

Now the house is gone, the kids have all grown
Seems we've gone our separate ways
Ma and dad gone up into heaven
Lord how long for many ways

Ozark memories
Ozark memories
