Kiland - People Who Forgot (The Homeless)

People see a lot
Yet there are few changes
From our youth we're taught
Not to talk to strangers
But from that strangers view
They are not the stranger
But what is strange is that you don't see the danger
Cause they are much like you
Loosing something daily
The difference is that you can't perceive that maybe
You could be alone
You could loose your home
As people see a lot
Somehow people have forgot
Now one sees the news and one might read the paper
Seeing destitute; lives that cease light vapors
Homeless sleep on streets; children from hunger dying
And yet we are aware; but there are so few that are trying
Christ was homeless too
Even born in a manger
Even those that he knew considered him a total stranger
When I was hungry you feed me not
When I was naked - you forgot
I'm not much different from you; you see
It can happen to you; like it happened to me
There are many people on the street and all alone
Somewhere there's a child that crying
There's a mother slowly dying
