Za's Stair - Picture Yourself on a Boat on a River

Some neuronic urgency
Asunder in the soul of me
Has sounded an alarm to tell
Sleeping souls of sudden peril

Ponder long the neuromancy
Yonder in the salty reeds
A pool of milt, or destiny
Alive amid alkaline seas

Some with crasser journals warn
Of unexpected, violent storms
Living like whales in the ether
Where thought and love grasp form

Of battles long your look conveys
Unsettled in a score of grays
A portrait of slim white disaster
Once firm then yielding forever after

Plot-like waves trace ocean depths
Perverse sea splendor derelicts
The yielding monuments of a czar
Melted down to rough-hewn ore

In samsara find your rest
You philanthropic narcissist
In beads and bolts and bread rejoice
Such a simple passage is your voice

In wine and laugh regale
A celebration of the fail
