Michael K'von - Prison or Palace (Intro) (Live)

I'm reminded of a story in the Bible
About Joseph where his betrayed him
They were jealous of him because of the gift that God had given him
Because of the call that was on his life
So what happened was
They sold him to the Egyptians
And when he got to Egypt
Jospeh was then a slave living in his masters' house
But the Bible says
But God was with him
So therefore everything that was connected to him
And everything that he came in contact with was
Was Blessed
So his master promoted him to the "head of his house"
So somewhere along the way
Jospeh was lied on
And manipulated
And he was wrongly convicted and he was thrown in prison
And the Bible says But God was with him
So therefore everything connected to him
And everything that he came in contact with
Was Blessed
So even the guards of the prison
They seen it they seen the glory that was on his life
So they made him they promoted him
Over the entire ward of the prison
As a prisoner
So the pharaoh of Egypt
He started having these crazy dreams
Nobody in the land he searched high and low
For somebody to interpret his dreams
Until somebody said oh I know a man
You just gotta go get 'em out of prison
So they went to go fishing for Jospeh and they got 'em
And he accurately interpreted pharaoh's dream
And said that the dream meant in the land of Egypt
That for seven years
The land would prosper
Following there will be seven years of famine
So pharaoh told Jospeh
Because you are the only one that see's this coming and you know what to do
He said come into my pri- my palace rather
He said come into my palace
And he gave Jospeh the highest seat in the palace
And yet again the Bible says
But God was with him
So therefore everything connected to him
And everything that he came in contact with
Was Blessed
I don't know who needs to hear this
But people have lied on you
People have threw you under the bus
But how many of y'all are glad that that does not stop the promises of God
For the promises of God are yes and amen
God we thank you
God we thank you that no matter where we stand now
Your promises are final
