The Metal Alliance - Puppetmaster

Carving a block of wood
In the mental image of a son he never had
Working away drenched in sweat
Possessed as if he's gone mad
Promised it will come to life
With the spell he now possesses
It will be the best puppet the world has ever seen
As he progresses

Soon he realizes that wood is not
The best material for the finish to apply
The puppet needs organic substance to make it
Completely perfect in his educated eyes

Flesh on wood
They are gone for good
Wood for bones
A skull and crossbones
There it stood
Sculpted from the man's vision portrayed in wood
It's incomplete
Just needs an extra feat
What it needs
Will show in his deeds
Children cry
For the flesh he needs they will have to die

Mutilating children to fit the puppet's needs
For the perfect combination
The eyes from one, muscles from another
Together it's his ultimate creation
Satisfied with what he sees
He uses the enchantment to bring it to life
The puppet wakes up to the joy of the man
By amazement he drops the blood soaked knife

The boy releases an unnerving scream
Because the blood of the slain is burning him up inside
Feeling all the pain and suffering through the flesh
Of all the children that have died

Flesh on wood
They are gone for good
Wood for bones
A skull and crossbones
There it stood
Sculpted from the man's vision portrayed in wood
Now it's complete
Blood drops to it's feet
Full of pain
The carpenter to blame
Children cry
Disgusted by it's own existence it wants to die

It pleads to his creator to release him from this hell
This was never the intention of the spell

The carpenter refuses this is his dream
He will not cave to the puppet's demands
Resorting to matters of the extreme
The puppet is choking him with its bare hands

Gasping for air resting with his fate
The carpenter's proud of the monster he did create
Death for its master and death is what it yearns
The fireplace's ready for the puppet to burn

To burn
Now it burns

Flesh on wood
It's gone for good
Wood for bones
A skull and crossbones
There it stood
Sculpted from the man's vision portrayed in wood
Now it burns
For death it yearned
Released from pain
The carpenter to blame
Now it burns
The flesh and wood turn to ash so it never returns
So it never returns
