The Prophet Obblonge - Remember These Things
Something always has the potential to be better if the one designing it is you
If you are implementing its birth and lifespan, making its children more efficient
If you do something, your interests are always considered top priority
Raise your voice and stitch your flags into wind turbine sails
No world government as anarchy reigns
Communities develop with purpose on purpose
For to rely on oneself is to realize that you are not an island
That you are not alone, and that your neighbor's health and well-being directly affects your own
Not because they belong to your peer group
But because of their proximity
You are not more important
You are not important at all, unless you make yourself important
And it is impossible to do that without constant evaluation of all the latest data available
And cannot be done for you
You do not exist
You have no self
If you do not do this on your own
And assist those whose paths you cross, and you will not be counted, even amongst the dead
When you are fighting monsters, do not equip yourself with the garb of the day
The armor, the crossbows, the recoilless rifle
Then you are still a human with tools
Become a bigger monster, one that eats the smaller monsters
Then you are unending hunger and victory
I just remembered a goal, as of yet unachieved, I had set for myself in my early 20s
To bathe an onlooker with my recent stomach contents on demand, from chest to toes
A show of willful action, instead of a mere, you make me sick
Yes, a conversation I just had did remind me of this
And in this era, the Prophet Obblonge looked upon the Firmament
And detailed the ubiquitous improprieties presenting themselves
Solving them near-immediately, his hatred and anger prevented him from adding the most holy
Information to the Akashic Records
Entropy was both pleased and not pleased
It isn't your job to think other people's thoughts for them
When you spend the limited amount of time you have thinking about how others perceive you
That is, assuming or guessing about what others besides yourself think about you
Then you have less time to live your own life
All you will ever own is your body
All your body has is a limited, unknown amount of time
Certainly it is far preferable to spend your time doing your only job, being yourself
A being you made by yourself
All of your decisions are yours and yours alone
Unless, that is, you at some point made the decision to give someone else that authority
No one else
No one has authority over you if you are a person
No one
Remember this
Always
The disappearance of the expectancy of privacy, being able to be accountable for one's actions
Is the beginning of a new explosion of evolutionary progress
As peoples no longer can participate in governmental corruption or personal petty slight
The resultant time gained will afford a wealth of new opportunities
Both in the exterior world and the interior psyche of the human species
When dishonesty is extinct, the defense mechanisms that tax the machinery both
Mechanical and organic will legitimately fall away
Leaving the resources previously spent on such
Free for use in higher yield endeavors
