Wherever, whenever possible

Very commonly, the clients from (???) practice
Have been treated poorly and disrespected
Validating them
Through showing appreciation
Helps to combat their negative experiences
And negative self-perceptions

And also shows basic respect
For them as human beings
Which they are entitled to
No matter their behaviors
According to human services' value system

Clients may not appreciate
Workers' efforts
To help them
Nor do they have to
But they should be leary about
How they get their own needs
And validation met

This is not the purpose
Of a helping relationship
Nor should it be the purpose

Human services is about
