Have you looked outside today
Because something round here don’t feel the same
Last time I checked, all the people I met

Used to go to the store when I needed food
Now I use my phone, I don’t have to move
Put on more weight than ever before
But I’ll get my steps in when I answer the door

To the take out, I just ordered
From down the road, I’m a supporter
Of small businesses because the rest of my money
Goes on meme NFTs that I think are kinda funny

Used to go to my job now my job’s at my home
Only thing’s that my home, other people own
And the bills and tax are only going one way

I’m sure the gap in my wage will follow any day….


Time’s have been kind of strange of late,
I don’t watch the news, since half of it’s fake
Been paying my debts trying to up my credit
But my time would have been better spent on Reddit

Reading forums on hip hop
Putting my money in Gamestop
Instead I’ve been making homemade jet skis
Opened an account so I can sell them on Etsy

Trader by day day trader by night
‘Cause where I live the time zones don’t align
Just blew my savings on a meme of a cat
But I’m told in the future that I’ll get my money back

Cause I saw a tweet from Elon
He said the future’s coming it won’t be long
So turn off the screen and get outside
