Walk of Faith - Something Just Ain't Right

I've heard that talk forever calling out the end is near
And I'm not a doubting Thomas, I just didn't see it clear
But deep in Revelations I found signs I can't ignore,
About nations fighting nations, mass starvation, a Holy War

I don't claim to be a preacher, I'm not a prophet, some great man of God
I'm just a simple Christian who's been listening to what's going on
I don't have all the answers, just this lonely feeling deep inside
That's telling me "pray harder" 'cause something just ain't right

It's right there in the headlines, this weeks unemployment's up
A writer says us Evangelicals are finally out of luck
There's another corporate bailout and another broken bank
A page on new world order, home foreclosures, cap and trade

I don't claim to be a preacher, I'm not a prophet, some great man of God
I'm just a simple Christian who's been listening to what's going on
I don't have all the answers, just this lonely feeling deep inside
That's telling me "pray harder" 'cause something just ain't right

I can't predict the future, only God in heaven knows
Just look around and ask yourself "is this the status quo?"

I don't claim to be a preacher, I'm not a prophet, some great man of God
I'm just a simple Christian who's been listening to what's going on
I don't have all the answers, just this lonely feeling deep inside
That's telling me "pray harder" 'cause something just ain't right
