Curiosity crept up
Caught this cat by the scruff of his neck
Just couldn’t resist what was coming next
So let’s wait and see what tomorrow bring
It’s not wise to rush most things

All of life and so much more

Trust is earned by showing
You can tend a heart with devotion
Even in these stormy seas
The whale song starts to open
Echoing across the ocean

Sometimes I’m ahead
Somedays I fall behind
But when I take a breath I realize
There are ups and downs

If you think you always have to be right
Sometimes there’s a voice that’s saying
“You better keep on trying”
But I would just rather do
Not 2nd guess

I find contentment in simple things like
