Lost in clouds of indecision, feeling my way through this life
Searching for ways to clear my vision, wanting more
But I don't know why I understand that there's more to life than I will ever know
But somehow life just doesn't fit, something's very wrong
So I'm seeking out the ones who want to help me succeed in this life
They have strong hope and certainty, they understand just what I need
Being taught now to notice that answers have always been there
Not blinded by lies and cover-ups, so banishing despair
With open mind, no illusions, I'm willing to learn what's new
I can see the clearer picture now, so choose hope and love and truth
I need answers to my questions, like need to feel like I belong

I'm now on track for something better, I smile more than I frown
I have answers to my questions, no need for life to get me down
Another day is over, the writing's on the wall
It's time for me to stop reflecting on the dreams that made me stand so tall
Now I'm fully awake and I'm standing on my feet from now until tomorrow
The sun will be much colder than the ones within my dreams
See our picture with me, hold it in your head and when the new day starts to dawn
Born into a life of stress, trapped no room to grow
Had to learn the hard way but now I truly know how poverty and problems
Help you learn to stay alive when someone out there's looking down on you
And wills you to survive
We all have our story, mine wasn't always too share
His glory I later found out that he died for me
He would never want to ignore me because he wanted to restore me
Sorry if this sounds corny but I needed his love because evil started to bore me
My story has not been told so I'm gonna step up and be bold
And start looking for the spiritual gold which can't be sold
Sorry if you're cold but your heart grows old
Let your life unfold, read your bible and begin your revival
Don't worship any false idol, life is just a trial
Follow Jesus for your survival because the devil is our rival
He loves putting people in denial and sometimes I wish I could shoot him with a rifle
But I ain't tryna go viral I hope I pass my final yeah
