Bleeding Trees - Strawberry Swirl

The Sun outside is setting fast
I hide myself away until it's passed
Venturing into the night
As the remnants of the light escape my eyes
Watching as the city sleeps
And preying on the empty streets I'm tired
Of hearing voices in my head
That beckon me to fill an empty bed
I'd like to be in the Sun
Decomposing with my friends
Then I remember I have none
So it's another day spent waiting for it to end
Pulling my insides apart
To tear a work of art out of my veins
And feeling all my thoughts pour out
I watch them as they swirl around the drain
Evading from the sanguine sight
As the morning light begins to burn my face
And fading back into the grey
I hide inside the dark just to escape
I'd like to be in the Sun
Decomposing with my friends
Then I remember I have none
So it's another day spent waiting
I have no more life to live
No more life to live nothing to do
But I have all my breath to give
All my breath to give away to you
I have no more life to live
No more life to live nothing to do
But I have all my breath to give
All my breath to give away to you
I'd like to be in the Sun
Decomposing with my friends
Then I remember I have none
So I'm just another life spent waiting for it to end
