Ephemeral Ballads - The Place of Beginning

Port Royal, 1655
A city inhabited by thousands of peaceful people, will soon become a criminal nest

Anemos, the fierce wolf of the sea

The sea is breaking at the shore, and the wind starts to howl
And just like the wolf he is, he searches for his prey

The streets are lively with its trade, and the people gather 'round
As he stretches out his arm, he reaches for the sun

The shadow from the horizon
The unwelcome guests

As they approach the docks, his world begins to shake

Like a wolf who waits for its prey
Hunger starts to manifest into a blood lust that cannot be contained
When the time to take action is finally upon him
Wielding his sword in hand, he marches forward

You have the nerve to come to this place again?
This place is full of riches, and treasure for the taking
And now I've come to take back the taken
You are only one man compared to all us pirates

Like a wolf who feasts on its prey
One is simply not enough, one soon becomes ten and ten into one hundred
When they took my one beloved that Hunger could not be contained
But now to take back my last Treasure
