Kevin Luthy - The Book of Poems

Walking along with my eyes so blue
Tongue in my pocket just don't know what to do
Looking down at the ground around
Then I look up to the sky and say high

There's a poem in everybody's eyes
Some are unique while some are alike
A moonbeam strikes out across the sea
Would you read a book if every page was the same

Walking along with my thoughts so blue
One bird in the tree and the other one flew
Step off the back porch and look at the sun scorch
Wondering how to fly and say high

There's a poem in everybody's eyes
Some are unique while some are alike
A moonbeam strikes out across the sea
Would you read a book if every page was the same

Here comes the tide
That's what I'll ride
Breaking ground where it's found
A song of hope or a song to cope
Follow the light into the night

Walking along with my soul so blue
Everything's false yet everything's true
Making a wish with a bowl and a fish
I ask the penguin why and say high

There's a poem in everybody's eyes
Some are unique while some are alike
A moonbeam strikes out across the sea
Would you read a book if every page was the same
