Dani Lee Pearce - The Lonely Painter
I am a lonely painter
I live in my satchel of paint bags
Using bases that are all that's available to me
The statues that tower
Have burned all the arts away
Except for me
Day by day
The soldiers come
And I replenish supplies
Thankfully
They already come with red
Deoxidize to make blue
Draw from a different place for yellow
Dig deep in the thick of the heart if you dare
And you'll find the black aplenty
Apply it to dry ice and now you have white
I wont run out for a lifetime
My pieces they line the way
To draw my replenishings in
When stories spread i see
That they no longer destroy them
