The blaze of the funeral pyre
And the raze of the cities conspire
Judgement for those who bequest
And the gravestones of ancients bereft
Fall to the knees in a blink
Iron ships downward they sink
And the burden it falls into thee
And the people greet death and beliefs
Fallen now
A violent uprising ensues
Followers of scarlet and blue
Mighty the walls of their lair
And crumbled they do now despair
Dreams and the echoes of life
But they are all destroyed by the strife
An age of the fires and the grief
An age of no re ward to reap
They fall now to snow that surrounds
Their children now lay in the ground
Frost now a layer on their skin
And the winter sun making the gleam
Weapons of steel doused in blood
The snow covers warring in mud
An age of calamity due
For the people of scarlet and blue
Bodies in bloodied decay
The stench dominating the day
Rising the souls from within
And the death of our kin
