You know Jesus, I've been thinking a lot about forgiveness
And I just remembered what you said about a servant who didn't forgive
The servant pleaded for the king to be patient so he could pay off his debt
But you know what the king did? The king forgave him anyway

Forgive others as God forgave you
Otherwise, why should God forgive you?
So have mercy, on your fellow man
So that God may forgive you too

But you know Jesus, in that parable you told
The servant demanded that others repay him
And he had those people thrown in jail
And all for what? All because they didn't pay

And because the servant did not have mercy
The king was very angry
And so the king delivered him to jail
Until he should pay off his debt
