FAVOR - The West

Down here in the great
Dustbowl of the west
There's endless sand
As far as the eye can see
You can prowl beyond the sea
No one to direct dictate
Or control this very land
For we will continue to live
In this anarchy

A stolen amount was brought to the desk
At three o'clock
The man pulled the reins
And rode on his steed out to the stock
The thief heard the hooves
And carefully laid his weapon down
Then made his departure out
Without a sound

A wandering follower
Saw the body on the ground
He gazed at the deep black hole in his head
That dripped out red
Suspicion began to turn into fear
As it crept near
Too late when he turned around
And met his fate

Now the time has come
To cross this path
And lead the great escape
From all of his wrath

From the First Things Universe
To us not seeing
Risen from down under
We'll make it and take it
From the border of the city
Over the hills of the dunes
Riding on through the west
If you believe
