Four Minute Mile - Therfore, I Am

Well I urged our lives to stay
Unbitter and awake
To eliminate the fine line
Between flaws and my mistakes
So don't wait for me
Only audience for your freedom of speech
But I can turn excitement into typical middle class dream
So please don't stray
From the guiding principles
Built by hearts of broken family
And that's what I thought
It lost all direction when it fell apart
But maybe complacency covers impatience
We're love sick to finally start
I won't forget
Where it all began
But I won't forget
My humble start
To the completely different person I've become
I did the best
With what I had
We made mistakes
We always did
And I swear I've gone too empty handed to stay strong
We're all inclined to speak about fear and disbelief
To live by loving paycheck and staying on your feet
We're encouraged to stay young
And told to understand
That the problems are not failures
But a chance to start again
And that's what I thought
It lost all direction
When it fell apart
But maybe complacency
Covers impatience
We're love sick to finally start
Well I won't forget where it began
