Tuppenny Blue - Transylvanian

I met a girl on the Gothic Express
Poetry in motion in a tight black dress
I thought I was a man, I thought I was cool
She played me like a fish, I was a fool
Her eyes were black, her teeth were white
The train sped ahead into the night
And she was Transylvanian

We started to talk
I lost all sense of time
I was drinking whiskey
She was drinking red red wine
And just by some chance, our hands just happened to touch
I never knew then that it would cause me so much
We were drinking in The Pullman when the lights began to fail
Her skin in The Moonlight was white and pale
She was Transylvanian

She Said Stop the train, I want to get off now
The children of the night were howling, and how
She pulled hard on the cord
The train screamed and shuddered to a stop
It was all a bad dream - with her cherry on the top

I thought I was a man, I thought I was cool
But that's when I knew, well, I was a fool
She was Transylvanian

Well now that I've told my story to you
Let me buy you a drink
Cause I'm Transylvanian too

She Said Stop the train, I want to get off now
