Loneboys - Tuesday

It all started on a Tuesday
The earth was spinning as it always seems to do
I was in Lone town, where the roads always seem to be empty and cold
It was there that I met 2 of the strangest people who I've ever met
One with these demon eyes that could kill you
If you stared into them for too long

He has horns sticking out from his head, a devil
But he's nice, so an angel? It gets confusing
And this buff cyborg dude who can teleport like there's no tomorrow
We became friends that day, and I'm glad, we are the Loneboys
The loneliest people this side of Lonely town

We burnt the town to the ground and as
It burst into flames, A million trillion people
Screamed, as we walked into the sunset
And forget yesterday times, those days are over
I'm free

As we walked out of town shivers down my bony spine
I had never felt anything like it

I was free at last
Or so I thought
Lone city was just around the corner
They'd expected us
They knew our names, calling out
Willy, Abner, and Dario

As I walked through the gates I felt the loneliness once again
But this time it was different
Because this time I wasn't lonely all on my own

We're the lone boys, so lonely but so free
Burning and burning as the earth spins one more time
As we grow old, and so frail, we do it together
As one, as a whole, cuz they are me, and I am them

Don't take it too seriously. And don't follow my footsteps
Cuz the places my mind roams to, is a place that feels so lonely and cold
And the streets are empty, but it's fun to dream about that place
And it's fun to roam the streets that make up this mind, the mind of Me
Don't confuse it with the mind of the most
Lonely man to ever walk these streets
The mind roads that we walk on and
The same old ones that feel so cold
Barefoot on the ground, falling down
Watching as the stars go around, sun bursts, boom

The ashes cover the inhabitants of this town
And that's when you'll join us
We were free? Yes we were free
But now it's back to yesterday times where the roads
Always seem to be empty, and cold
And where my mind can roam free

As every day passes and the earth rotates
Just one more time, the loneliness I feel inside only grows stronger
The day is approaching, the end of all things, and I know because I am him
He's a lone boy, and you don't want to be there
When he finally explodes, like the sun, coldness overflowing his mind
What is happening to me?

Tuesday, is that the day?
I lost my calendar last year
Am I still here?
