Trase - Two To Tango

What's the word? I'm just crumbling herb
Daily struggles I deal with for what it's worth
Taking nothing for granted and strike like a bandit
Take manners in my own hands and the way I planned it

I rock on and on and go all along
The watchtower, in a stealth mode sporting shelltoes
Smoking on that sour when I'm in the Place like Melrose
To remember my lines always make short memos

How deep this love really runs no one knows
This poem shows Hip Hop is in my chromosomes
Grew up with kids who came from broken homes
Get deep like polar lows, cooler than swollen toes

My lyrical styles diverse just like Roman roads
Notes delivered doper than a levodopadose
Me and my man got some years on these open roads
Stand tall like totem poles and the Golden Oak

Verbally, overdose on beats with broken notes
Even without designer clothes flow like dynamos
For my people to listen to, keep my rhymes exposed
Devotions and emotion wrapped in broken hopes

Put trust in brotherhood, live by the unspoken code
It takes two to tango, this could not be sown alone
Monday makes manic like The Bangles and the slogan goes
Do yours while I do my thang and work the angles
