Sam Tracy - Weather

How's the weather in your heart
Does it rain
Is it dark
Do the clouds cover up your northern star
How's the weather in your mind
Is it tangled all the time
Does the weatherman call for any sun in sight
A crow flies high above me driving on a dirt road
Who knows where to go whichever way the wind will blow
I'd like to shake you off my skin it feels like porcelain has shattered on the floor
I didn't know that we were standing in the middle of a category storm
Now the wind howls heavy on my heart and knocks the trees down
Lightening strikes the powerlines and sparks the night in this town
I'd like to find some peace of mind the kind where I can hide these walls are caving in
I'd like to sign the dotted line but all I find is I don't know where to begin
How's the weather in your heart
Does it rain
Is it dark
Do the clouds cover up your northern star
How's the weather in your mind
Is it tangled all the time
Does the weatherman call for any sun
Snowfall creeps up on us where has all the time gone
Trees are bare leaves are rare and frostbite lines the front lawn
I'm not surprised me and the tide we've come to find the rise and fall it never ends
And I'm doing fine me and the five hundred photographs I'll never see again
How's the weather in your heart
Does it rain
Is it dark
Do the clouds cover up your northern star
How's the weather in your mind
Is it tangled all the time
Does the weatherman call for any sun in sight
Does the weatherman call for any sun
