M!keperry - Wrongful Conviction

Throughout this process it was you that I steady was checking
My motivation was at a high, and girl my work ethic
Was constantly building like blocks inside of a square it got scarce
Then it started to disappear like the game of Tetris
But at this day in age why do we play
Memories won't fade in that book if you rip a page
Cause if you passionate about it never should go astray
And if it's happiness inside that joy will never bring pain
But, the sun will shine, just stay prepared for the rain
An umbrella can keep you covered, but why stay under
Too many times that record replayed, skipped around and some delays
I'm just saying and was down but I had to come up
Sprout of Erection, change of direction, calm and collected
Miss everything about you, but that's a daily expectance
I hope my, message will touch what's inside your chest and in your skull
Our moments was never dull don't sweep this one under the rug please baby please

Wrongful conviction
I tried and tried a thousand times, but you never would listen
I fought hard you left me scarred and now I'm out my feelings
But my thoughts of you is constant and it's you I'm missing
Ain't lying
I put you high up on that pedestal
I was judged and ridiculed but having you I had to aim high
I blame myself for the timeless prediction
In the end of it all I was wrongfully convicted

Can't look in the mirror, Feel like my image is tested
And I apologize to you for any new neglection
But pain runs deep, so I'm losing sleep
And I'm fighting these demons that shouldn't be following me
Goin threw difficult changes
My mind is a mess, so I meditate, music help
I was told that ever dark cloud came with a silver lining
I showed up late, so you can blame for all of the late timing
When the time right, I hope they get to find us
I'm challenged up at the peak so I'm climbing over ever mountain
Making something out of nothing never seem so hard
Invest in everything I believe in and trust my guys

Wrongful conviction
I tried and tried a thousand times, but you never would listen
I fought hard you left me scarred and now I'm out my feelings
But my thoughts of you is constant and it's you I'm missing
Ain't lying
I put you high up on that pedestal
I was judged and ridiculed but having you I had to aim high
I blame myself for the timeless prediction
In the end of it all I was wrongfully convicted

Feel like I'm always wrong when you get to tripping
No witness, cause everyone be judging your business
Locked in a cage, is that wrongful conviction

Feel like I'm always wrong when you get to tripping
No witness, cause everyone be judging your business
Locked in a cage, is that wrongful conviction
Feel like I'm always wrong when you get to tripping
No witness, cause everyone be judging your business

Wrongful conviction
I tried and tried a thousand times yea uh

I fought hard you left me scarred yeaaaa

But my thoughts of you is constant and it's you I'm missing
Ain't lying

High up on that pedestal
I was judged and ridiculed but for you I had to aim high
I blame myself for the timeless prediction
In the end of it all I was wrongfully convicted
